Laura Amsden, MPH, MSW

Laura Amsden is a DARE Program Manager, bringing more than 25 years of experience leading complex research, operational, and programmatic initiatives in health services and epidemiologic research. Throughout her career, she has partnered with multidisciplinary teams of researchers, clinicians, and organizational leaders to plan, implement, and manage projects that advance scientific knowledge and improve health outcomes. Laura has extensive expertise in project and program management, research study implementation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership. She is passionate about supporting evidence-based research and creating processes that enable teams to work efficiently and effectively. Laura earned Master’s degrees in Public Health and Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
