leads and other experienced Investigators. They can help you:
- Formulate your research question
- Identify potential collaborators
- Get connected to resources
Note: all projects are required to have approval from local leadership.

If you are new to research or simply need a refresher, take these

Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Research Compliance
Before you begin your project, familiarize yourself with the IRB. If you are unsure if your project will require IRB approval, complete a Research Determination Request Form.

Information for Resident Researchers
Many KP residency programs have a built-in research requirement. Research resident projects are supported by medical center based project managers, and biostatisticians and programmer/analysts, as needed.
